Meet Jorge D. Collazo
Jorge D. Collazo is the founder of JC Immigration Law. As the son of immigrants, he has a deep personal understanding of the fear, stress, and uncertainty many individuals and families experience when navigating immigration matters. This perspective shapes how he approaches every case, with care, honesty, and respect for what is truly at stake.
Jorge practices immigration law exclusively and is committed to providing clear, straightforward guidance to individuals and families navigating the U.S. immigration system. His work focuses on removal defense, family-based immigration, humanitarian visas, citizenship and naturalization, work authorization, and related proceedings. He has represented clients in hundreds of immigration court and USCIS hearings across the United States, approaching each case with careful preparation, sound legal judgment, and an understanding of the real-life impact immigration decisions carry.
Jorge earned his law degree from Syracuse University College of Law and his undergraduate degree from California State University, Long Beach. He believes effective legal representation begins with listening and telling clients the truth. He takes the time to explain the law in clear language, walk through available options, and be upfront about potential risks so clients can make informed decisions with confidence.
